Acer Aspire One AOD270-21375 Netbook PC Review I bought this Acer Netbook for my wife to use instead of having to haul her much larger and heavier laptop into the livingroom. It turned out to be an excellent buy, as the same netbook sells for much more elsewhere. It is quick for only having 1 Gb of RAM (recommend adding a 2 Gb stick for faster performance). The 320 Gb hard drive ia a good addition and will allow storage of pretty much anything you may want to install on the Netbook. If you want a full version of Windows 7 you can purchase the upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium for around $25 that will only work to upgrade from the Windows Starter edition. Acer make good products that have cool features. Check this Netbook out. You won’t be disappointed.

Dell Inspiron 15R i15R-1803MRB Laptop PC Review I bought this for $498 and worth it it replaced my 6year old 17in inspiron which I felt was a little to big I do admit the start up is a bit slow but compaired to my old LT it is better I solved this problem by installing W7 enterprise and what a difference it loads in a blink I use this for email The WIFI works great letters paying bills and watching movies and down loading music and I have not had a problem yet The problems I read about seem a bit picky I do not think you should expect the super performance that you need for these games from a $500 LT my grandson brought some games over and told me they work OK but not great He will bring his Dell i7 XPS when he visits from now on You Get What You Pay For fingerprints, speakers, games If you spend $100s on all these super games I think you would not buy a low end LT that you play them on 2 or 3 games cost almost as much as this LT this is a slightly up graded basic LT for most home and maybe small office.

MSI GT Series GT70 0NE-452US Notebook Intel Core i7 3630QM Review Really any issue with this laptop will be with windows 8, it takes up to much space on SSD and the whole “metro” interface isnt good for anything other than browsing facebook or checking your mail, but once you have done 2 quick google searches for the tweaks to bring back start menu and load to desktop on start it becomes a beast of a laptop that makes most other laptops of similar cost pale in comparison, MSI GT Series GT70 0NE-452US very satisfied with this purchase in design, build quality and performance.

MSI GT Series GT70 0NE-452US Pros: -Very comfortable keyboard for whatever you are doing typeing or gameing
-Matte screen makes it useable almost anywhere without squinting or an umbrella
-Fast enough to do whatever you can imagine
-Even at max speed fan is quiet enough to not notice
-High quality speakers that i can actually use instead of headphones
-Not alot of useless bloatware, unlike other brands

MSI GT Series GT70 0NE-452US Cons: -only option is windows 8, and the OS takes up half the SSD (55 of 118)
-may have to upgrade SSD to bigger as i only have 3 games on it now(starcraft2, skyrim, BF3) and am down to 6gb on the main drive(128gb SSD)

Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 59359560 Notebook Intel Core i5 3230M Review I love the people who are complaining about the specs on this machine. For a 1080P screen with this graphics set-up it can’t be beat. I have read reviews complaining about 5200 RPM hard drive or no touch screen. This machine at time of purchase was the best full HD SLI laptop available and 250-300 cheaper than anything else on the market. If you want all the bells and whistles pony up the extra 300 bucks. I have had zero problems with this machine. Although Windows 8 is a piece of p00p that does not negate an EGG.

Its runs everything I have thrown at it flawlessly. I have not seen any scenario that made me want to rush out and upgrade to 7200+ RPM drive or SSD. The 6GB of RAM holds it own as well. If this is your only machine maybe you want to add some extra horsepower but this is mainly used as a portable for me and not my main PC while at home. Lenovo has other configurations that include more ram and I7 if that is a deal breaker for you.

My goal was accomplished in getting my hands on this machine 1080P, good graphics set-up, and CHEAP PRICE!
